and here we go..

lets first start by mentioning the weather, the past couple of days, and apparently this whole next week. it has been nothing short of perfect, spring is here and she is showing. there is something very calming about this whole thing, despite the goodbyes, good lucks and good tears.

over half-way to baltimore and all is smooth. there is not enough thanks we can give to our good friend noah. he dropped this on us last night that he wanted to see us off, we happily accepted. also a million thanks to kristie who was our ride before this opened up. many drinks will still be had!

we headed out of greensboro a little later than expected..and it was wonderful.
the past week has been a monument, seeing and spending time with all of the awesome friends that have built up along the way. the gathering thrown for both our journey and chance's b-day, was an absolute blast. all of the best people, just happy to see each other. all the best music and spirits. thanks to guy, dan, trey & chance, for bringing us into their home for such a rememberable night.

tomorrow morning..the sun will shine bright.

live heavy, travel light

cheers

maybe in distance, never in heart.

sitting here, less than a week before we leave, on a beautiful sunny tuesday afternoon.
lately everything has seemed to be glowing. all of our friends and families, nervous and supporting words and faces. from the fat tire sign at the hill, pool table lights at tucks, and elm st. every time we walk across. it's hard to not want to reminisce, everyone here means so much, every stupid joke and goddammit every shitty tattoo.

the past few weeks we have been welcomed with open arms into such a beautiful home. katie and jenn, there are no words for the gratitude we hold for you two. it has been a blast and we wish you only the best for the animals and your hearts. thanks again also, to everyone who has continuously offered their floors and couches and beds, it's so amazing to see just how many friends and kind people there are and we have gotten to know.

greensboro you are our home, you have led us strong and wise, and soon our friend, you will be our home again.

live heavy, travel light.

these men are wolves.

march 1st

about two weeks, without a house to call home, and we are doing great..
still trapped in greensboro, due to, well..my crazy work schedule, but it will feel nice making all you fiends happy.

tonight we are taking advantage of tanners mother's house, all the internet and dog smell you could ever desire. but really it's nice, having a roof that is.

for the past two weeks, our dear friends, Tori & Lizzie have welcomed us into their beautiful home. there truly is so much love and friendship to be found there. honestly we cannot thank you both enough.

so with about a month and a week before we head north,
taking every chance we can to spend time with the people in this town that matter most and fill in blanks any blanks left unfilled is first priority.
all the kind words and support from our family and friends and even the drunken strangers has kept this idea alive and strong everyday.

cheers
